Utsav Samithi has been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in the month of Bhadrapada (monsoon season) since 2013.
Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaviti is one of the utmost festival celebrated all over India and wherever Hindu reside across the globe.
The rituals including pooja and prayers are done as a seva by the volunteers of the Samithi to create an awareness and appreciation
for Hindu culture and rituals in the younger generation. A lot of care and detailed planning is done for the festivity celebrations
to make them as true as possible to the India experience.
The festivities have grown from a humble beginning in the last few years to a joyous event attended by
a cross section of people across gender,
age, race, locality, ethnic background and even faith. Religious activities and participation in community events is intrinsic to the Hindu
way of life and the annual celebration is marked by active participation from children and seniors alike by portraying Indian music, arts and dance.
